Had tremendous size at 6'3", 250 pounds, which was intimidating to hit against--even at the big-league level. Owned a very live arm. Was usually around the strike zone. Lacked consistency at the big-league level. Also, he was a little bit too hittable at times in Major League Baseball, since he threw a lot of strikes (generally).
