Swung the bat with huge power. Had a big, strong frame and quick wrists. Also had the potential to hit for a good average. At times he could be a true impact player when he got red-hot with the bat. Was defensively challenged, especially at the hot corner. Sometimes he went on huge strikeout binges, and generally whiffed too often. Had some issues with his conditioning during his time in MLB.
