Colvin has RBI single, stolen base vs. Rox
Rotoworld.com
News
Tyler Colvin went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Rockies.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin scored the first run of the game and he added an RBI single in the sixth inning. The 28-year-old also stole his first base of the season. Colvin's playing time may be cut into when Brandon Belt returns in a few weeks, but he should continue to get a few starts per week until then.

Tyler Colvin triples, reaches three times
Rotoworld.com
News
Tyler Colvin went 2-for-3 with a triple and a walk against the Nationals on Thursday.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin is known for his power, but he has just one homer in 71 at-bats for the Giants this season. Fortunately, he has contributed nine doubles and two triples, making him a somewhat useful piece as a part-time player with Brandon Belt out. He shouldn't have any fantasy value once Belt returns.

Colvin cracks 2 doubles in Giants victory
Rotoworld.com
News
Tyler Colvin finished 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in a 6-4 win against the Marlins on Thursday.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin has blistered the ball in sporadic playing time since his Saturday promotion. He's 6-for-13 (.462) with three doubles, a triple, a homer, three RBI and three runs scored. Colvin is an extremely streaky hitter with direct access to playing time with Mike Morse having shifted to first to cover for Brandon Belt. If he keeps raking, he'll keep playing, and on that chance alone, NL-only owners might want to make a speculation add here. The name Tyler Colvin is radioactive to some fantasy owners, but keep in mind he has a .460 career MLB slugging percentage, has slugged .500 or more in over 350 at-bats twice, and is still only 28.

Colvin triples, homers in leading SFG to win
Rotoworld.com
News
Tyler Colvin finished the two easy wheels short of the cycle Monday, going 2-for-3 with a triple and homer in a 4-2 win against the Braves.
Forecaster Impact
A San Francisco legend is born. Colvin scored two runs and knocked in three. The veteran outfielder is a long-time fantasy bust, but NL-only owners might want to sniff around the streaky hitter with pop. With Mike Morse having shifted to first base to cover the disabled Brandon Belt, left field at-bats are there for the taking. Colvin will have to share those for now.

Giants purchased the contract of OF Tyler Colvin from Triple-A Fresno.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin is in Los Angeles with the team and will be active for Saturday's game against the Dodgers. The 28-year-old outfielder was hitting .267/.315/.408 with two homers and 16 RBI through 35 games at Fresno. He'll provide additional depth while Brandon Belt is sidelined.

Colvin optioned to Triple-A Fresno by Giants
Rotoworld.com
News
Giants optioned OF Tyler Colvin to Triple-A Fresno.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin had a good chance to make the team as a reserve infielder/outfielder, but the 28-year-old batted just .212 in Cactus League play. He'll report to Triple-A and could find himself back in San Francisco later this year.

Colvin hits second spring homer vs. Angels
Rotoworld.com
News
Tyler Colvin went 2-for-4 with a solo home run as the Giants fell to the Angels 11-4 on Monday.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin took Kevin Jepsen deep for a solo shot in the eighth inning, his second of the spring. Colvin is battling Juan Perez to be the club's fifth outfielder. CSN Bay Area's Andrew Baggarly suggests the club should choose Perez over Colvin for multiple reasons including Perez's comparatively good spring and defensive prowess, as well as Colvin's lingering back issues.

Giants sign Tyler Colvin to minor league deal
Alex Pavlovic on Twitter
News
Giants signed OF Tyler Colvin to a minor league contract.
Forecaster Impact
The deal includes an invitation to major league spring training. The 28-year-old outfielder spent the majority of the 2013 campaign at Triple-A Colorado Springs where he slashed .275/.377/.480 with nine homers, 32 RBI and six steals in 67 games. He'll compete for a reserve role in the Giants outfield.

Tyler Colvin could still wind up with Orioles
Troy Renck on Twitter
News
Troy Renck of the Denver Post hears that there's a "good chance" Tyler Colvin will still wind up signing with the Orioles.
Forecaster Impact
The O's and Colvin agreed to terms last month on a major league deal, but it was nixed after the outfielder failed the team's in-depth physical. Baltimore is now only willing to offer him a minor league deal, but it appears Colvin might take it. The 28-year-old is coming off a disastrous 2013 season, but he was terrific in 2012, batting .290/.327/.531 with 18 home runs in 420 at-bats for the Rockies.

Colvin sorting through minor league offers
Fox Sports
News
Tyler Colvin is weighing several minor league offers, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
Forecaster Impact
Colvin lost a major league contract with the Orioles after Baltimore's medical staff found something they didn't like during his physical. The outfielder/first baseman enjoyed a nice 2012 season in which he hit .290/.327/.531 with 18 home runs in 420 at-bats, but he struggled to be effective in the majors last season, hitting only .160 with three home runs and 10 RBI while striking out 27 times over 75 at-bats for the Rockies.
