Scouting Report
Was a tremendous athlete, which helped him greatly on defense at shortstop. Was a solid hitter who ran well, and he also had some pop in his bat. Was also an excellent runner and base stealer. Lacked patience at the plate and his swing had a tendency to get a bit too long at times (especially for his level of power). Made his share of errors at short, mostly mental. Later on in his MLB career, he became a solid utility infielder.
Long Range Potential: Quality infielder.
