| Had great movement on his fastball, a clean and easy delivery and excellent deception--which was his main weapon for registering strikeouts. Knew how to pitch. Was rather poised when on the bump. Did not have an ideal pitchers' frame, so he had a tendency to wear down late in games (and injuries were also a big issue for him throughout his MLB career). Also, he was hurt by opponents when his pitches were up in the strike zone a bit too much. | |
