Jairo Asencio has signed with the KIA Tigers of the Korean Baseball Organization.
Asencio was believed to be headed to the White Sox on a minor league deal, but apparently that did not happen. The 30-year-old spent this past season in the Orioles' organization, allowing two earned runs in 2 1/3 innings with the big club.
