Has a good pitchers' frame and also knows how to pitch. Does not easily give into hitters. Also, he is capable of pitching late in games at the big-league level. Can be dominant when on top of his game in the bigs. Needs to prove, once and for all, that he is capable of getting the ball with the pressure of the ninth inning , since he usually pitches better in the eighth inning. Is prone to bouts of wildness. Injuries are an issue.
