Scouting Report
Had very good power from both sides of the plate and was a gifted hitter who made excellent contact as a left-handed and a right-handed batter. Was a fairly consistent performer in Major League Baseball. Was quite prone to injury, especially for someone who did not often play defensively. Was below average with the glove at first base and was always much better suited to the role of designated hitter in the big leagues.
Long Range Potential: Solid, switch-hitting slugger.
