Had an ideal pitcher's frame (6'4", 230 pounds). Could pitch to contact effectively or dominate via the strikeout. Right-handed batters had trouble picking the ball up from out of his hand, since he threw across his body. His stamina and consistency were issues in the big leagues, though he worked hard to improve in those areas. Could occasionally flirt with bouts of wildness and a general lack of control.
Long Range Potential: Solid right-hander.
