| Pounded fastballs in on batters easily and aggressively, and broke a lot of bats along the way. Had a decent set of complementary pitches, including a slider and a changeup. Could both start and relieve in MLB. His fastball did not have a lot of movement at times, resulting in long balls and big innings. Could also surrender too many free passes, and at times struggled to manage games. Lacked consistency but was hugely persistent and reliable. Enjoyed a very lengthy career, albeit a nomadic one. | |
