Owned a sweet swing, power and a willingness to take walks. Was great in the clutch when driving in runs. Had very soft hands and was good defensively at first base. Lacked speed and swung a little too freely at times, which sometimes limited his batting average from reaching top-tier levels. Was also lacking in range at first, especially later on in his MLB career.
Long Range Potential: Excellent first baseman.
