The Diamondbacks optioned Diaz to Triple-A Reno on Thursday.

The Diamondbacks recalled Diaz from Triple-A Reno on Thursday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Diaz (finger) was reinstated from Triple-A Reno's 7-day injured list Thursday and struck out six while allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings in his return to the club's rotation.

Diaz was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Reno on Thursday with a blister on his right hand, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

The Diamondbacks optioned Diaz to Triple-A Reno on Monday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Diaz did not factor into the decision in Sunday's loss to the Pirates. He did not allow a run and just gave up one hit while walking four and striking out seven over five innings.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo confirmed that Diaz will make another turn through the Arizona rotation Saturday versus the Blue Jays at Chase Field, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

The Diamondbacks selected Diaz's contract from Triple-A Reno and he will start Monday against Atlanta.
