McCabe (elbow) has gone 5-for-28 with a home run, 15.2 percent walk rate and a 33.3 percent strikeout rate in eight games since being activated from High-A Rome's 60-day injured list July 30 and assigned to Double-A Mississippi.

McCabe had Tommy John surgery this winter on his right elbow and is on the 60-day injured list with High-A Rome, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.
