Imanaga will start March 18 against the Dodgers in the Cubs' season-opening series in Tokyo.

Imanaga will start one of the first two games of the season when the Cubs face the Dodgers in Tokyo on March 18 and 19, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Imanaga (10-3) got the victory Saturday in the 14-2 win against the Marlins. He allowed two runs on four hits in six innings, with two walks and three strikeouts.

Imanaga (9-3) allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Blue Jays.

Imanaga did not factor into the decision in a win over the Cardinals on Wednesday, allowing four runs on 10 hits over 6.2 innings. He struck out seven.

Imanaga allowed one run on two hits across seven innings but did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 2-1, 10-inning win over the Diamondbacks. He walked one and struck out 10.

Imanaga (7-2) took the loss to the Mets on Friday, allowing 10 runs on 11 eleven hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three innings.
