Bloss could be brought up from Triple-A Buffalo in September if the Blue Jays elect to go with a six-man rotation for the final month of the season, Kaitlyn McGrath of the Athletic reports.
Bloss has joined Triple-A Buffalo and is slated to start Saturday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
General manager Ross Atkins indicated Tuesday that Bloss will get some "breathing room" at Triple-A Buffalo before being called up and added to the Blue Jays' rotation, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports. "Our ideal outcome is that he's helping us this year and growing and developing here in Toronto," Atkins said. "We're going to get to know him, make sure that he's in the strongest possible spot."

Bloss was scratched from his slated start Monday against the Pirates, Brian Brian McTaggart of MLB.com.
Bloss (0-1) took the loss in Tuesday's game against the Athletics, allowing five runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over four innings.

Bloss did not factor into the decision in a win over the Marlins on Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk over four innings while striking out four.
The Astros reinstated Bloss (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Thursday ahead of his start versus Miami, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
