Bednar (back) began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on June 7 but hasn't made an appearance for the affiliate since June 22.

High-A Eugene placed Bednar (back) on its 7-day injured list Thursday.

Giants farm director Kyle Haines said Monday that Bednar (back) will remain at extended spring training for the start of the minor-league season, Melissa Lockard of The Athletic reports.
