Beeter was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.

Beeter (shoulder) was reinstated from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 60-day injured list Saturday and was assigned to Double-A Somerset.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said Tuesday that Beeter is seeing a specialist for his right shoulder and could miss the rest of the season, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Beeter was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday with an unspecified injury, Conor Foley of YES Network reports.

The Yankees optioned Beeter to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Beeter allowed one hit in a scoreless ninth inning during Friday's game against Houston.

Beeter has been informed that he'll be included on the Yankees' Opening Day roster, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

The Yankees selected Beeter to their 40-man roster Tuesday.

Beeter logged a 1.69 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 27 strikeouts in 16 innings over his final three starts for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Beeter has made five starts for Double-A Somerset so far this season, posting a 1.35 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB over 26.2 innings.
