Scouting Report
Power, precision and patience create a seemingly effortless approach to the plate for this hard-hitting slugger. A compact and controlled swing allows him to make contact with a variety of pitches across several looks. Able to work deep into counts until he finds a pitch he likes, he can push the ball to any part of the field and find the gaps. His ability to dependably produce home runs and extra-base hits means he also draws a lot of walks. A lack of foot speed keeps him from being a stolen base threat and from being more than a respectable first baseman. He does have decent hands and good defensive instincts but is much more suited to a DH role (though he can also play an outfield corner position, if required).
Long Range Potential: Talented, versatile slugger with good upside.
