Imposing size, grueling work ethic and considerable control are just a few traits on display here. Unable to overpower hitters, he instead relies on a combination of athleticism and command to throw plenty of strikes. Does not lean on any single pitch and is comfortable attacking the plate with his fastball, changeup, slider and curve. Generally posts good analytic numbers. Needs to find more consistency with his velocity if he wants long-term success in Major League Baseball. Can start or relieve, which adds to his overall value.
Long Range Potential: Solid left-hander with some upside.
