Marsh (shoulder) is slated to throw a bullpen session Friday, MLB.com reports.

Royals manager Matt Quatraro said Wednesday Marsh is recovering from right shoulder tightness that could delay when he will first face hitters, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Marsh is moving to the bullpen since Michael Lorenzen (hamstring) is returning to Kansas City's rotation Wednesday against Washington, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Marsh is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Twins in Kansas City.
