Vizcaino (arm) and Kevin Alcantara were acquired by the Cubs from the Yankees on Wednesday in exchange for Anthony Rizzo, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Vizcaino (arm) began a rehab assignment with the Yankees' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate on July 8 and has made two one-inning appearances for the club, giving up a run on one hit and three walks while striking out four.

Vizcaino has a sore arm and will miss the start of the minor-league season, Jim Callis of MLB.com reports.

Vizcaino was optioned to High-A Hudson Valley on Friday.
