Adon was optioned to Triple-A Rochester by the Nationals on Wednesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Adon (0-0) didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 4.0 innings against San Francisco. He struck out two.

Adon was recalled from Triple-A Rochester and will start Tuesday at San Francisco, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The Nationals optioned Adon to Triple-A Rochester on Monday.

Adon did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over four innings in a 5-3 loss against Atlanta. He struck out five.

Adon (2-2) took the loss Tuesday, allowing four runs on eight hits and six walks over four-plus innings against the Pirates. He struck out four.

Adon came away with a no-decision in Friday's 8-7 win over the Phillies, surrendering six runs on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out three.

Adon (legs) is listed as the Nationals' starter for Friday's series opener against the Phillies, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Adon was removed from Friday's start against the Athletics with an undisclosed injury, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Nationals manager Dave Martinez confirmed Wednesday that Adon will have a permanent spot in the rotation down the stretch, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.
