The Mariners recalled White from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday and placed him on the 60-day injured list with a left adductor strain.
White is expected to be sidelined two months after suffering a Grade 2 groin strain while playing at Triple-A Toledo, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
