Uelmen (forearm) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.

The Phillies recalled Uelmen from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday and placed him on the 60-day injured list with a right flexor strain.

Uelmen (undisclosed) was reinstated from Triple-A Lehigh Valley's 60-day injured list Sept. 18 and made his final appearance of the season Tuesday, striking out three while allowing one run on two hits and one walk over one inning.

Uelman, who remains on Triple-A Lehigh Valley's 60-day injured list with an undisclosed injury, began a rehab assignment at Single-A Clearwater on Thursday.

Uelmen was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Uelman allowed a hit and two walks in a scoreless inning against the Pirates on Friday. He struck out one and earned a save.

Uelmen tossed two scoreless innings of relief in Sunday's loss to the Rockies. He allowed two hits and struck out four.
