Somewhat of a control artist, he throws plenty of strikes and boasts a quality sinker (which helps him induce a great number of groundball outs in the minor leagues). Also owns an ideal pitchers' frame (6-3, 225 pounds). Since he is almost always around the strike zone with his pitches, he can be a tad too hittable sometimes (even in the minors). Also, he does not have the weaponry to strike a ton of batters out (he relies a lot on his defense).
Long Range Potential: Solid, sinkerball specialist with some upside.
