Took a sweet, compact lefty swing that let him wait on pitches and work counts. Could be both a run producer and table-setter. Piled up walks and ran the bases very well. He even stole them. Was inconsistent in the power department (and lost some of his home-run power over the years), but still struck out a lot. Could be error-prone in the outfield and also lost range over time. | |
Long Range Potential: | Quality, versatile and sweet-swinging outfielder. |
