The Phillies reassigned Walker to minor-league camp Tuesday.

Walker has joined the Phillies on a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training, per an announcement from the team.

Walker was traded to the Rays on Monday in exchange for utility man Ford Proctor, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Walker (shoulder) made his second appearance for Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, tossed 1.2 scoreless innings while allowing two baserunners.
