Hicks (shoulder) allowed two unearned runs over two innings in his first rehab appearance with Single-A San Jose on Tuesday.

Hicks (4-7) took the loss Tuesday against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on three hits and five walks while striking out seven over 3.2 innings.

Hicks said after Thursday's loss to the Blue Jays that his body "in general is just feeling it a little bit more than in past seasons," NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
