Has an excellent fastball, which can dominate hitters in the minor leagues (and can at times reach triple digits). Is capable of being used as a closer at lower levels. Displays plenty of mound presence. Does not have ideal size (6-1, 195 pounds) for a big-league pitcher, and needs to add more bulk and strength in order to maximize production in Major League Baseball. Walks too many batters.
