Is a late-blooming starter (and also a reliever) with plenty of innings left in his arm, since he was a college closer. Is a fiery competitor with a four-pitch repertoire and the ability to step up in clutch situations. His pitches, aside from a good fastball, are not great. Therefore, he might not have enough weapons to get MLB batters out with regularity as a starter. Also, walks can be a problem for him, as can injuries.
