His electric arm prompted a conversion from shortstop to pitcher at the age of 23. Was both a toolsy position player and also a heady student of the game. As a hitter, he displayed some untapped power and a good approach at the dish. Also owned a great arm for shortstop, with great hands and a flair for the dramatic. However, he struck out way too much and the positive hitting results just were not there. So, he will try to get back to MLB as a flame-throwing right-hander (albeit a raw type).
Long Range Potential: Former toolsy shortstop, now a hard-throwing right-hander with some upside.
