Berry cleared waivers and was outrighted to High-A Jupiter on Thursday.

Orioles optioned LHP Tim Berry to Double-A Bowie. His stay with the Orioles lasted just one day, and he didn't appear in a game. He'll continue to work as a starting pitcher in the minor leagues where he'll provide depth in the event of an injury.

Orioles recalled LHP Tim Berry from Triple-A Norfolk. Berry holds a 4.12 ERA with 53 strikeouts over 63 1/3 innings at Double-A this season as a starter, but he'll be used in relief with the O's. The southpaw will be a long man.
