While he can pitch as a starter, he has found his niche in the bullpen. Has good MLB bloodlines as the nephew of former big-league shortstop Chris Speier. Has some history as a late-inning reliever in the minor leagues. His biggest issue is when he starts walking too many batters. Can strike batters out and be tough on left-handed hitters, but he can also be a bit too hittable.
