Briceno was reassigned Tuesday to the minor-league side of Royals camp.

Briceno re-signed with the Royals on a minor-league contract Wednesday.

Briceno signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on May 24 and was assigned to Triple-A Omaha.

The Rockies released Briceno on July 21.

Briceno agreed to a minor-league contract with the Rockies which includes an invitation to spring training Friday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Briceno cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.

Briceno was optioned to the Angels' alternate training site Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Briceno's contract was selected by the Angels on Monday.

Briceno (shoulder) will be part of the Angels' 60-man roster.
