Has good power for a left-hand-hitting catcher (a valuable commodity in baseball), and he can also hit for a decent average in the minor leagues. Will draw a fair number of walks, too. Needs to improve his receiving skills in order to see more regular action at the highest level. Must also prove capable of hitting left-handed pitching with regularity in the bigs.
