Arroyo (wrist) has gone 0-for-6 with two walks and two runs in two games since being reinstated from Triple-A Nashville's 7-day injured list Wednesday.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Sunday he doesn't expect Arroyo, who is also dealing with a wrist injury, to exercise the opt-out in his minor-league contract, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinelreports.

The Brewers reassigned Arroyo to minor-league camp Friday, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.
