This is purely a depth move for both teams, as Butera adds a little of it behind the plate from an organizational standpoint for Kansas City. He's a third stringer at best at this point in his career, though.

Jackson will provide some organizational infield depth for the Halos, who don't have a lot of it both in Major League Baseball as well as down on the farm. He's not expected to be called up anytime soon.

Neither Butera nor Jackson offers much in the way of fantasy value, so there's really nothing to see here. Move it along.
