In a rare swap between Chicago rivals, the Pale Hose land a solid reliever in Tepera. The 33-year-old right-hander can pitch in high-leverage situations and will likely be used in a setup role on the South side.

In Horn, the Cubs acquired a left-hander who was drafted in 2020 and is currently completing his first pro campaign. He is a decent addition in exchange for a veteran reliever for a selling team like the Cubs.

Tepera should be in line for a few holds with the White Sox down the stretch, although he may not get any save opportunities now that he has moved to the South side of Chicago. As for Horn, he does not need to be picked up in most keeper formats but keep an eye on him.
