In Pounders, the Mets acquired a 28-year-old reliever with some experience pitching out of the bullpen in Major League Baseball. That will likely be his role in Queens, too.

The Indians moved Pounders for cash after signing him to a minor-league contract last off-season. He did not make the team in the spring and had been toiling at Triple-A Columbus.

There is no fantasy impact here, as Pounders will likely serve a middle or long-relief role with the Mets.
