In Wright, the Mariners land a versatile right-hander who can both start and relieve. He will probably be used as a long man out of the bullpen at the outset. However, Wright may be needed in the Seattle rotation before long.

The Orioles recently designated Wright for assignment, but they were still able to land an asset in return. Ogren is a middle infielder with limited offensive upside, but he is still better than nothing.

Wright has little fantasy value at present time. Once he settles into a role with Seattle, he might add a bit of stock (but probably not much). Ogren has no fantasy value at all.
