The Mariners are planning a major overhaul this off-season with their sights set on rebuilding the club drastically. Sanchez could therefore benefit from this situation when the trade dust finally settles, as he may be able to reach MLB a lot more quickly than if he had remained with the pitching-rich Braves.

The Braves recently decided to designate Sanchez for assignment in order to open up a spot on the 40-man roster for a return of veteran catcher Brian McCann. Therefore, the team did fairly well here to get some cash back in exchange for the erratic but talented 21-year-old left-hander.

As a Mariner, Sanchez may have more fantasy value down the road due to Seattle's spacious ball park. Therefore, Sanchez should now be on the keeper-league radar as a possible late-round draft possibility in 2019.
