In Locastro, the Yankees add a versatile player who will likely compete for a spot on the bench in spring training. He is a handy player to have around because he can play almost anywhere.

The Dodgers decided to designate Locastro for assignment recently, so they did well here to at least get back a prospect and some cash. Finley is not much of a pitching prospect.

Locastro will probably not start enough to have fantasy value, even though he can be a good source for stolen bases. Finley should not be on the fantasy radar, either.
