The Angels are in need of more help in their rotation, so the hope here is that the diminutive Peters can provide some organizational depth in 2019. The 26-year-old left-hander has 13 MLB starts under his belt. He may turn his fortunes around with the Halos.

Peters struggled (27.2 IP, 7.16 ERA) with the Marlins last season, so he was recently designated for assignment. Stevens is a 22-year-old reliever who struggled at Triple-A Salt Lake in 2018. He likely needs another year of minor-league seasoning.

Peters will likely enter 2019 as a fantasy dark horse (though he is not a lock to begin the campaign in the big leagues with the Angels). Stevens is off the fantasy radar until he reaches MLB and cements a role in Miami's bullpen.
