The Cubs have been really good since the All-Star break, and are looking more and more like the defending World Series champs. Martin will provide depth in the outfield down the stretch, but do not expect him to play a lot.

The Mariners had designated Martin for assignment recently, so they should at least be happy to receive something in return for his services. The veteran speedster from Cuba was a major disappointment in Seattle this season.

At this point, Martin figures to play as a defensive replacement and pinch-runner for the Cubs down the stretch. His fantasy value is negligible.
