The Mariners have been ravaged by injuries to their starting pitching staff throughout 2017, so it is a bit of a miracle that they are still in Wild Card contention in the American League. Albers will try to give them quality innings down the stretch.

The Braves had not use for Albers at the highest level, so they decided to ship him to the Mariners for a little cash. It is a good move for all parties involved, especially since the Braves are not contending for anything in the National League.

Albers is inconsistent in Major League Baseball and cannot be trusted at this point. Pass.
