The Angels know Graterol very well, since he was in their organization a season ago. Therefore when they needed more depth at the catching position, Los Angeles decided to bring the journeyman catcher back into the fold. He will once again serve as organizational depth.

For the Blue Jays, this deal will not amount to much after designating Graterol for assignment recently. He lost out in the competition for Toronto's backup catcher gig to veteran Jarrod Saltalamacchia, so the Jays felt comfortable with their catching to let him go at this time.

Graterol does not have much fantasy value, and things figure to remain that way for the duration of his baseball career.
