The Indians have great relievers at the top of their bullpen, but they could use a little more depth. Goody is expected to compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster in spring training. His chances are good.

The Yankees had designated the 25-year-old Goody for assignment recently, so they at least received something in return for his services. The Bronx Bombers have several arms similar to Goody in their system.

Goody could become a setup man for Cleveland at some point in 2017, but his fantasy value will remain limited in the short term.
