Scouting Report
One of the few players in the NBA who could legitimately start at any of the five positions, he could do it all but most notably had great court vision and passing ability for his size. Usually took smart shots. Was a very good and positionally-versatile defender, too. Ran hot and cold (game to game, and season to season): he looked like an MVP at times, and like a role player other games. Could have scored more and sometimes deferred too much to his teammates. Lost mobility with age (and conditioning was an issue).
Long Range Potential: Uniquely-skilled, versatile forward.
