Everything about him was superstar material: was elite as a scorer, yet also a selfless passer and a stellar defender. Fantastically athletic, he was both explosive and fast overall. Had the unique tools of a great 2-guard, yet played so much bigger than his size thanks to great reach and leaping ability (was able to post up big men for dunks). Was a warrior who drew a lot of fouls. Was also a mature leader, proven winner and all-around great guy. Could wear down a bit, and injuries and turnovers were at times factors because he always took so much contact. Was never a good three-point shooter (unless the game was on the line), a rarity for a shooting guard. | |
Long Range Potential: | Clutch, superstar shooting guard and Hall-of-Famer. |
