| A high-energy, consistent post player and a locker room leader, he used his long arms, big hands, and excellent effort to collect rebounds. Scored inside fairly effectively when needed. Took care of the ball and hit his free throws regularly. Could play both power forward and center. Did the dirty work (like drawing charges). Was undersized for an NBA big man (especially early on in his career). Did not put up big defensive numbers, and was not much of a passer or outside shooter. With age, he became less of a rotation regular and more of a glue guy in the locker room. | |
